Delete Account
Start in the app
In Pusula, open Settings → Delete account or Permanently delete account. You may need to reauthenticate with your sign-in method before submitting the request. This action cannot be undone.
If account deletion appears unavailable in the app environment you are using, the account has not been deleted. Contact support and be prepared to verify that you own the account.
After a request is accepted
The deletion process runs asynchronously on the secure server. Closing the app does not cancel the request. Temporary technical failures may trigger a retry; the status can be shown in the same Settings area as pending, processing, retryable failure, blocked, or completed.
New data writes may be stopped after the request is accepted. A blocked request may require a security review; this page does not promise immediate backend deletion.
What is covered
Account, profile, private study data, backups, user-owned Storage files, notification-device records, and the username record are within the deletion scope. Local user data on the device is also processed for cleanup during the deletion flow.
Deleted study records cannot be restored. In normal use, they are retained for seven days from the server-assigned deletion timestamp and then permanently removed. Scheduled cleanup may take approximately one additional hour in ordinary conditions after that period. Full account deletion may remove the records without waiting for the seven-day period.
Minimal, non-identifying terminal status information may be retained for up to 30 days to show the technical outcome of a deletion process.
If you cannot access the app
If you cannot access Pusula or encounter a security or technical block in the deletion flow, email support@pusulastudyapp.com. Support may ask you to verify account ownership; sending an email alone does not mean the account is deleted immediately.
