Pusula
Privacy Policy
About this policy
This policy explains how the Pusula app processes personal information. Pusula provides study-planning and progress-tracking tools for YKS preparation. The Android app may use the technical package identity com.ykskocum.premium.
Information processed and why
- Account and identity: Firebase Authentication may process your user ID, email address, and identity information from the sign-in provider you use to create and access an account.
- Profile and study preferences: Exam mode, goals, study preferences, plans, tasks, routines, topic progress, study sessions, book tracking, and analysis records may be used to provide the study experience.
- Wrong Notebook: If you choose, images selected from your camera or gallery may be associated with a wrong-question record. Uploading an image is optional.
- Premium: Google Play Billing and backend verification services may process purchase information and verification tokens to validate Premium access. Pusula does not collect payment-card details itself.
- Advertising and privacy choices: Google AdMob interstitial ads may be shown to free users. Ads are suppressed for Premium users. Google’s UMP flow may be used for advertising and privacy choices.
- Diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics and Performance may process technical diagnostic information to help understand app errors and performance issues.
Local storage and backend processing
On your device: App settings, notification schedules, offline study data, records waiting for synchronization, temporary files, and some consent or preference information may be stored locally. Local notification schedules and notification identifiers may also remain on the device.
Backend and service providers: Account, profile, study data, synchronized records, Premium entitlement, and optional wrong-question images may be processed through Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Storage or related Google services.
Data is not sold for advertising or data-brokerage purposes. Firebase, Google Play, AdMob, UMP, and diagnostic services are service providers used to operate the app; each service may process information under its own technical and privacy practices.
Permissions and choices
- Camera and image access may be requested to add an optional image to the Wrong Notebook.
- Notification permission may be requested for study reminders and local notifications.
- The active YKS study flow does not use location or microphone access.
- Advertising and privacy choices for free users may vary according to AdMob and UMP flows.
You can change permissions in your device settings at any time. Removing a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
Account deletion and retention
You can start an account-deletion request from Settings → Delete account or Permanently delete account in the app. Reauthentication with your sign-in method may be required. An accepted request is processed asynchronously on the server and may be retried after temporary technical failures. New writes may be stopped after the request is accepted.
Account, profile, private study data, backups, user-owned Storage files, notification-device records, and the username record are within the deletion scope. Deleted study records cannot be restored. In normal use, they are retained for seven days from the server-assigned deletion timestamp and then permanently removed. Scheduled cleanup may take approximately one additional hour in ordinary conditions after the retention period. Full account deletion may remove these records without waiting for the seven-day period.
Minimal, non-identifying terminal status information may be retained for up to 30 days to show the outcome of a deletion process. If account deletion is disabled in the app environment you are using, the app may not accept a request; use the support address below for assistance. This page does not promise immediate or unconditional backend deletion.
Your rights and contact
For access, correction, deletion, objection, or other legal requests concerning your personal information, contact support. You may need to verify that you own the account for security reasons.
